Andrew is EY China Restructuring Leader, having set up the EY China Corporate Restructuring team in 2007, which has over 50 members across eight offices in China. In addition to taking court appointments in mainland China and Hong Kong, he’s advised cross-border restructuring cases with Chinese stakeholders in Europe, the US, South America and Australia. Prior to his restructuring work, he gained experience in tax advisory in Australia, followed by a stint in Singapore and Hong Kong as a business advisor.


Andrew presented at the 2015 Beijing Insolvency & Restructuring Symposium hosted by American Bankruptcy Institute. And has also presented at conferences held by Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association and the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he earned his BCom in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne.

Carol is an English qualified lawyer focusing on business restructuring and insolvency. She has more than seven years of experience advising banks and non-bank lenders on structured and syndicated lending. Carol has extensive experience dealing with large and complex cross border restructuring deals, with a particular focus on both the restructuring and disposal of distressed debt across the region including Singapore, Indonesia, India, and Vietnam.

Jo-Anne is the Africa Restructuring Services leader and a well-recognised subject matter expert in the industry. Frequently speaking at local and Africa-related conferences, Jo-Anne is able to demonstrate her excellent technical competence. Most recently, Jo-Anne was selected to assist the World Bank at the Insol Judicial Insolvency training in Zambia last year, providing practical insight in the implementation of new corporate rescue legislation. Having recently re-entered the advisory domain at Deloitte and armed with 19 years Financial Services industry experience, Jo-Anne brings significant lender-side perspective to the service offering having led teams in a leading local South African bank, as well as a global alternative credit finance fund for the past seven years.

Kurkye Wong, Argyle Street Management, Hong Kong

Mr Wong is an Executive Director in Argyle Street Management Limited. Mr Wong is specialize in distress and private credit investment in Asia. He previously worked at KPMG and FTI Consulting in Hong Kong. Mr Wong is a Fellow member of the HKICPA. He holds a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology, a Juris Doctor from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Master course in Financial Engineering from Stanford University.
