    Jersey

Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands, is located in the Bay of St. Malo in the English Channel, approximately 14 miles (22 kilometers) from the French coast and 85 miles (137 kilometers) south of England. The island offers a unique blend of natural beauty, rich history, and modern attractions. Its landscape ranges from rugged cliffs and sandy beaches to rolling countryside and charming villages. The mild climate makes it a year-round destination for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and water sports.

Currency: Jersey uses both the Pound Sterling (£) and the Jersey Pound (£JEP).

Time Zone: Jersey operates on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) during standard time and switches to British Summer Time (BST, GMT+1) during daylight saving time, aligning with the United Kingdom.

Power Outlets: The island utilizes UK-style 3-pin plug sockets (types C and G) with a standard voltage of 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz. Visitors from regions with different plug types or voltages should bring appropriate adapters or converters.

Transportation: The island is small and has many options for transport including the public bus service operated by LibertyBus, taxi and car hire.

Global Connectivity: Jersey Airport (JER) offers direct flights from numerous cities from around the world.
